Chemische Zusammensetzung	Senna leaves contain approximately 3% dianthrone glycosides (sennosides A, A1, B, C, D, E, F and G), a small amount of anthraquinones including aloe-emodin and rhein-8-glucoside, about 10% mucilage, tannic acid and flavonoids. The extract is standardized to contain 8% sennosides and mainly consists of sennosides.
