Scape is roughly as long as the leaves; involucre is white and 2-lobed; umbel is spherical, with many dense flowers. Pedicels are as long as the perianth or 2/3 of its length, without bracts. Perianth is campanulate and white, with 6 perianth segments that are narrowly ovate, tapering to a point at the apex, and equipped with reflexed small tips. Filaments are 1.5-2 times as long as the perianth segments, conical, basally connate and adnate to the perianth. Capsule is triangular. Seeds are black, triangular-semicircular. Flowering period: July-September; Fruiting period: August-October. |
