Lycium barbarum polysaccharides (LBP) are water-soluble polysaccharides. It has been confirmed that the polysaccharide is a proteoglycan with a molecular weight of 22-25kD. It consists of 6 monosaccharide components: arabinose, acetic acid polysaccharide, galactose, mannose, xylose and rhamnose. The content is 20% and 50% (UV). It appears as a light yellow powder and is highly hygroscopic.
