A water-soluble proteoglycan derived from the fruits of Lycium barbarum L. (Solanaceae family), appearing as a tan to light yellow, hygroscopic powder that dissolves in water without precipitation and passes 80-mesh sieve.

Packaged in aluminum foil bags (1kg-5kg) or fiber drums (25kg+). Store in a cool, dry, dark place away from high temperature; shelf life is 2 years.

It consists of 6 monosaccharide components: arabinose, acetic acid polysaccharide, galactose, mannose, xylose and rhamnose. The content is 20% and 50% (UV). It appears as a light yellow powder and is highly hygroscopic.
